15 heroes of faith in Hebrews 11

The Bible gives a large lesson on faith in Hebrews 11, it is magnificent. In that Scripture, it also states 15 heroes of faith.
- Abel - Offered an acceptable sacrifice, Genesis 4:2-10 Devotion to God
- Enoch - Pleased God and taken to Him bypassing death, Genesis 5:21-24 Devotion to God
- Noah - Built the ark to withstand the flood, Genesis 5:30-9:28 Family, safety, devotion to God
- Abraham - Followed God, believed God’s Promise of a son, and offered the son as a sacrifice, Genesis 11:26-25:11 Devotion to God, family
- Isaac - He blessed his sons’ futures, Genesis 24:4-66; 25:9-11; 25:19; 26:1-40 Family
- Jacob -Blessed Joseph’s sons, Genesis 37:2-36; 39:1-23; 40:3-50:26; Exodus 1:5-8; 13:19 Family
- Joseph - He spoke prophetically of the exodus from Egypt , Genesis 37:2-36; 39:1-23; 40:3-50:26; Exodus 1:5-8; 13:19 Prophecy
- Moses - Chose to be with God’s People and kept the first Passover, The books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy - Devotion to God
- Rahab - She kept the Israelite spies safe, Joshua 2:1-24; 6:16-17; 6:22-25; James 2:25; Matthew 1:5 Devotion to God
- Gideon - Won a great battle against the enemies of Israel, Judges 6:11-8:35 Devotion to God
- Barak - Won a great battle against the enemies of Israel, Judges 4:1-5:15 Devotion to God
- Samson - Fought the Philistines, Judges 13:1-16:31 Devotion to God
- Jephthah - Won a great battle against the enemies of Israel, Judges 11:1-12:7 Devotion to God
- David - A man after God’s Own Heart, Ruth 4:17; 4:22; 1 Samuel 16:1-2 Samuel 24:25 Devotion to God
- Samuel - A prophet and judge of Israel, 1 Samuel 1:9-28:20; Psalm 99:6; Acts 3:24; 13:20 Devotion to God
