If you don't worship, the rocks will cry out

From Journey the Word

Wake up sleeper, don’t be silent about the Lord, or the rocks will cry out (Luke 19:40). The peace all of you crave is hidden from you. (Luke 19:41-44)

This interpretation is based upon the following: Isaiah 55:12 says, “You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” Throughout Psalm 148, there are numerous examples of created things praising their Creator—the sun, moon, stars, heavens, water, sky, animals, and people. Because of the refusal to not give praise unto the Lord, the rocks (unbelievers) would cry out in song, because they long for their ways to be “right” even though they’ll never be. So don’t let those who praise evil be able to speak loud… You encourage your voice to speak louder than the evil ones, because Our God is Greater than anything on Earth and within the heavens and the place of Hades.
