Searching for a sign

From Journey the Word

People are searching for a sign: Jesus tells us look no further than that of the prophet Jonah (Matthew 12:39). Your miracle is awaiting.People are searching for identity: Jesus tells us we are made in the image of GOD (Genesis 1:27), and that we are the children of GOD foreordained before being in the mother’s womb to go about in good works (Ephesians 1:5) – not in darkness, but in His Marvelous Light (1 Peter 2:9; Jeremiah 1:5). Christ Jesus lives inside the elect, and nothing can change that (Galatians 2:20). All of the elect are one part of the Body of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27). Not servants, but friends (John 15:15). YOUR LIFE is hidden in Christ in GOD, and will remain as that way should you be an elect of GOD (Colossians 3:1-4).

If you can declare Jesus as Lord and know you mean it, then you are elect. As well, if you can declare that GOD created us, and sanctified us to be in His Good Works forever – this is another assurance you are elect. Galatians 3:27 calls the elect one of Abraham’s offspring, which are heirs of the promise. What is the promise? The elect will be given eternal life and be with GOD eternally. All those of GOD’S SPIRIT (the elect) are sons of GOD (Romans 8:14-15). What is the way I as an elect shall live my life? Live it like a party, be in celebration and full of peace, joy, and righteousness forever. Seriously, celebrate. Eternal life begins now and shall remain. Just avoid foul parties that involve several bad factors (look in Galatians 5:19). See Ephesians 5 about how we should be living life. Party lifestyle is not as the world sees it, don’t be like the world. What I mean is that this interpretation says to sing to each other, enjoy each other in love, have grace, peace, love, joy, self-control, and so many more good things. Leave alone the things of the world that rot. Enjoy the things of eternal behold.

Rely on these instructions to keep things on the straight and narrow (along with reading all of the word, but especially): 1 Peter 2:1-12. Also reference Psalm 23 if you feel doubt. But the point of this life is to celebrate GOD in all that you do (See Psalm 5). Avoid such things as the works of the flesh referenced above and avoid things described in 1 John 2:16-17: Lust of eyes & flesh, and the pride of life. When you are elect, this life is not yours, it belongs to GOD no matter what occurs (Romans 14:8).
